Ensuring the Quality of Open Distance Learning (ODL) Programs Download Brochure Here



Brief Description:
To provide participants with the knowledge and the skills needed to align policy with practice in order to ensure that the needs of all stakeholders of an ODL program are met.

Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the course, participants should be able to:
1.	Identify quality assurance structures and procedures needed to ensure the total management quality (TQM) of a program
2.	Identify relevant stakeholders in the quality assurance system of an institution
3.	Align the quality assurance structures and procedures with the external processes provided by the relevant quality assurance bodies
4.	Describe the strategies that can be put in place to ensure compliance with the national quality criteria
5.	Identify and develop relevant quality assurance tools that can be used to ensure the total management quality (TQM) of an ODL program

-Meeting the national quality criteria

Entry Requirements:
One assumes that participants are working in education and training sector and are required to ensure the quality of ODL programmes. A minimum of NQF level 5 and basic ICT skills are assumed. - Higher Certificate in Quality Assurance in ODL
